Study of facial attractiveness is the key of the research field of psychology,many studies have been done abroad,but domestic research is less.Especially from cross-cultural perspective to analyze the skin color and gender dimorphism features for face appeal and the influence of stereotype perception research in domestic has not been involved.This study included three experiments,which respectively discusses the under cross-cultural influence, skin color and gender dimorphism features for facial attractiveness and its stereotypes.Experimental conclusion is as follows: people rate dark-skinned faces and masculinity male face higher than light-skinned ones and femininity male face; people contacting regularly with the Korean culture give light-skinned faces and femininity male face higher ratings than those having no intergroup experience; subjects’ rating of the social desirable personality will be affected by the skin color,people rating light-skinned higher than the dark group;and this rating also effected by the intergroup experience,people rate light-skinned and femininity male face higher personality scores; as long as the indicators of life success,we can find that the skin colour have an effect on the marriage happiness and it’s persistence as well as social and occupational happinese, people rating higher scores on light-skinned ones.While intergroup experience can only affected one index, the overall happinese,namely people contacting regularly with the korean culture give a higher overall well-being score.
