Idiom is a kind of idiom is an important part of Chinese vocabulary, which contains a strong national flavor and rich cultural connotations. Although the usual short and pithy, easy to understand, seemingly simple, however, because it has the double meanings of, the literal meaning and the deep meaning is not the same, lead to students in the learning of idioms in Chinese language are often faced with difficulty, in teaching Chinese as a foreign language is difficult. Idioms and idioms are idioms, but in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, idiomatic language teaching but far to get everyone’s attention and concern as the idiom teaching as a. In this paper, the on the basis of previous studies, Chinese idioms teaching were discussed. This article has carried on the analysis from the following several parts:The first part is the introduction. First of all, this paper analyzes the reasons for choosing this topic, and the research on the two aspects of the idiom in the body and the teaching of foreign language. Then it introduces the research purpose and research methods of this paper, hoping to provide some reference for the following researchers.The second part is the first chapter of this article. This paper introduces the curriculum of Chinese as a foreign language, in order to contact the author can be exposed to the Yangzhou university, Suzhou university, southwest university, Chongqing university of Posts and Telecommunications, as an example of foreign language courses. Then introduces the foreign language teaching materials and the HSK in the cover of the idiom, to help us understand the current situation of foreign language teaching.The third part is the second chapter of this paper, the survey and analysis of the acquisition of Chinese idioms and the teaching situation. A questionnaire survey was conducted on the students and Chinese teachers in Overseas Education College of Yangzhou University, and the results were analyzed. This questionnaire survey reflects the learning situation of the students and the teacher’s teaching situation, so that we understand the situation of the idiom in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The fourth part is the third chapter of this paper, the bias error analysis. On the basis of previous studies and previous studies, this paper sums up the types and sources of errors in the acquisition of Chinese idioms.The fifth part is the fourth chapter of this paper, the lack of teaching Chinese idioms and suggestions. On the basis of the above four parts begins with an analysis of the Chinese as a foreign language used to the inadequacy of language teaching, then from the aspects of teaching materials and teachers put forward some shallow suggestions, hoping to help the idiom of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Finally, it is the conclusion part, summarizes the whole paper, summarizes the author’s point of view and the conclusion, and reflects the shortcomings of the paper.
