Vocabulary teaching is the emphasis of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,idiom is an important part of vocabulary,and the rich connotations behind the idiom can reflect the culture of the Chinese.Therefore,in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,learners who are non-native speakers want to understand the idiom,not only the teacher's correct explanation,but also the proper guidance of the textbook,and the idiom annotation is the direct reference of the students.We think idiom annotation is a complete system,not only the definition of the meaning of the idiom also includes the annotation of the idiom in the textbook(whether labeled "Cheng"),the interpretation style of the idiom,the interpretation mode of the idiom and the phonetic format of the idiom,so we mainly from the above aspects of the "Boya","Chinese Tutorial","Ladder" 3 sets a total of 24 foreign language textbooks in the interpretation of the meaning of the analysis.First of all,we discuss the problem of "Cheng" in the textbook and the four-word lattice which is not the idiom,give the definition of idiom,compare the idioms in three sets of textbooks with the outline,and check the arrangement of idioms in textbooks is reasonable or not.Secondly,we make statistical analysis on the style of idiom interpretation in existing textbooks,find out the problems in the stage and classification of idiom interpretation style,and finally puts forward the standard style of idiom.Then we examine the present situation of the interpretation pattern of idioms in different stages and different textbooks,it is found that the basic principle of the interpretation mode is generally in line with primary media interpretation,intermediate bilingual interpretation priority and high-level target language interpretation as the ultimate goal,but in the textbook,the interpretation mode is mixed,and we put forward some relevant suggestions.Finally,from the angle of sound and righteousness,we explore the definition of idiom,find out the basic problems of phonetic notation and interpretation of idioms,give the basic format of idiom phonetic notation in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage,and put forward that the meaning of idiom should be based on literal meaning,and the interpretation principle should be complementary.
