Since the 21st century, increasing number of people have noticed that new challenge s are coming with the globalization. Capitalism countries has been taking advantages fro m globalization to manipulate international community which undermine the interests of s ocialism countries, their international status and prestige.This situation motivate socialism countries to evolve Marxism to adapt to globalization and keep utilize Marxism to critici ze capitalism and to reform the society. When Marxism was in the downtime, Jacques D errida, master of deconstruction, defended Marxism and figured out new ways to utilize Marxism. Derrida’s viewpoint on Marxism inspired socialism countries, especially China, to keep develop Marxism. The purpose of this essay is to emphasize the necessity of de veloping Marxism to adapt to globalization and highlight problems which socialism count ries should noticed in progress of developing Marxism. On the light of Derrida’s Spectre s de Marx, this essay start with analysis of the timing that Derrida’s defend of Marxism, then talks about the way in which Derrida inherit Marxism and the value of Derrida’s viewpoint on Marxism and defects of his viewpoints.Below are brief introductions on five parts of this essay:The first part describes the background on which Derrida developed his viewpoints on Marxism. The emerging of Marxism and post-Marxism in the western country, his ch ildhood as a Jew during the war time and his road to became a deconstruction master a re all affected his understanding of Marxism.The second part explain how did Derrida use deconstruction methods to defeat "Bou rgeois", especially Fukuyama’s theory "the end of history", they supported. For starts, De rrida questioned the validity of "the end of history". He pointed out that "the end of his tory" theory has some apparent pitfalls in terms of logic. In addition, Derrida suggested Fukuyama’s viewpoints that human has get very close to post-world after Marxism ends is a not true. Derrida also said that the Fukuyama advocated viewpoints, such as Marxis m has already ended, is like holding a funeral for Marxism. However, Derrida suggested the start of that funeral represents the reborn of Marxism.In the third part, this essay discusses how Derrida’s theory inherit from Marxism an d changes he made on Marxism in four aspects. He pointed out that while Bourgeois wa s holding a funeral for Marxism, the Marxism actually reborn and came out as a ghost. He mentioned Marxism is still needed because its critical views on Capitalism. In order to build new principle of international community, he proposed to build a new type of I nternational political system.The next part discuss the limitations on Derrida’s Marxism. Derrida believed all liter al concepts of Marxism and system of Marxism should be deconstructed. This viewpoint tore Marxism apart gradually and turned Marxism into ghosts in the end. Moreover, De rrida see deconstructed Marxism as nothing but a kind of radical criticism. Additionally, the new political idea of International proposed by Derrida looks like a Utopia.The last part of this essay describes the value of Derrida’s Marxism in contemporar y era. Derrida’s new understanding of Marxism help us to notice that Marxism still have practical value. It also inspired us to keep developing Marxism under globalization.
