A Study Of Grammar In Yangbi Dialect

YangBi is located in west-southern of Yunnan Province. YangBi dialect belongs to Xi’nan section dialect which is a sub-dialect of the northern dialect. This paper selects characteristic reduplicated forms, affixation, and aspectual system of YangBi dialect as the research objects. On a basis of synchronic description, the paper contacts the relevant linguistic theory and trys to compare with Mandarin、the other dialects around of YangBi and other materials for contrast research, attempting to comprehensively summarize the grammar features and characteristics of YangBi dialect.This dissertation is composed of 5 chapters.First chapter: introduction. This part briefly introduces the history and geography and population of YangBi, the phonetic system and related research general situation of YangBi dialect.Second chapter: This chapter mainly discusses the overlapping form, affix, pronounsm and prepositions of YangBi dialect.Third chapter: syntax study of YangBi dialect. This chapter mainly discusses YangBi dialect’s aspectual system and special sentence patterns.The fourth part is mainly does the part of syntactic research.The last chapter: conclusion.
