Research On Grammar Of Huaiqing Dialect

Huaiqing dialect belongs to Jin dialect. For the grammar study ofHuaiqing dialect, researchers often stay at one point or one side, lack ofholistic and systematic study. And because of the affects of ZhongyuanMandarin of Jiaozuo city, the vigorous promotions of Mandarin, andpeople often consciously avoid to say Huaiqing dialect. Thetrendis thatHuaiqing dialect gradually move closer to Zhongyuan Mandarin. So anoverall description and analysis of grammar of Huaiqing dialect isnecessary.In the thesis, I describe and analyse the grammar of Huaiqingdialect from two aspects--morphology and syntax, including the specialaffix,the vivid forms of adjectives,the grammatical forms, meanings andthe pragmatic functions of adverbs, modal particles and other specialwords;the systems of aspects of the verbs, some special sentencestructures.The grammatical phenomenon and features of Huaiqing dialectwill be described and analysed as comprehensively and systematicly aspossible. By describing and analysing the grammar of Huaiqing dialectand comparing to the grammatical phenomenon of Mandarin, I find the richness and diversity of Huaiqing dialect’s grammar and retain theintegrity of Huaiqing grammatical features. The thesis also deepens theunderstanding of the phenomena and the grammatical features of thegrammar of the dialect, and provides some reference values of thegrammatical study of Jin dialect, Zhongyuan Mandarin and the ancientchinese. From another perspective,people can understand the necessityand urgency of dialect grammar research and the research will enrich allaspects of dialect study.
