Objective: through the analysis of the present situation of Yunnan Province special education teacher burnout, and then explore the its and the relationship between personality traits and for the education department in charge of the selection and employment reorientation of teachers, special education teachers provide reference, also make more special education teachers to understand and respond to the job burnout.Methods: to participate in 2015, Yunnan Province, special education(retarded) training from Yunnan Province 49 in the special education school of 221 teachers compiled by Maslach Burnout Inventory and big five personality questionnaire questionnaire conducted a questionnaire survey. Using SPSS software package for statistical processing, using descriptive statistics, t test, F analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Conclusions are as follows:(1) Yunnan Province, special education teachers’ job burnout mainly to low and moderate burnout, the performance of individual special education teachers in a high degree of job burnout. Job burnout with seniority or special education teaching overall growth presents the development trend of the inverted "U" type, 6-10 years seniority or special education teaching of teacher burnout is the most serious.(2) There is a significant effectgender, age two demographic statistical variables of job burnout without significant effect, seniority, special education teaching and teachers reorientation and non reorientation category learning statistical variables on job burnout in one or more dimensions.(3) of special education teachers in Yunnan Province in the big five personality traits of five dimensions, mean order from high in the end for neuroticism, agreeableness, consciousness, open, outward of. The personality characteristics of Yunnan Province special education teachers of enthusiastic and energetic for frank, sincere, good at making friends, brave and energetic, self-discipline and adaptable, cautious and orderly, peace of mind and imagination, for art and beauty have profound understanding of, pay attention to their own inner feelings, more in line with the requirements of special education to teacher’s character.(4) gender had no significant effect on personality, age, seniority and categories(reorientation and non reorientation) three people learn statistical variables of personality consciousness dimension has significant effect, special education teaching on personality characteristics of agreeableness dimensions have significant influence.(5) Yunnan Province special education teachers occupational burnout and personality traits exist significant correlation, and different personality factor on Job Burnout of special education teachers at different latitudes have different degrees of prediction. Personality characteristics of the emotional reaction strongly or unstable, nervous, always anxious, sensitive, irritable, suspicious of teachers are prone to job burnout.
