In recent years, with the acceleration of globalization, Chinese fever has reached an unprecedented height. Over the years,many scholars have also done a lot of research on the acquisition of Chinese as a second language. Based on their research, the paper mainly focuses on how to teach communication strategies during teaching Chinese according to the theory and standards of effective teaching and communication strategies. The theoretical basic of research are theory of effective teaching and communication strategies. The paper combines qualitative with quantitative research methods, literature analysis, questionnaire survey and other research methods. The study subject of communication strategy are postgraduate and graduate students from Yunnan Normal University and Yunnan University. The paper concludes the usage, features and facts which influence their using of communication strategies. We hope that we could provide useful recommendations for using communication strategies and help teachers in teaching Chinese as a second language both domestic and foreign.
