Zen-Tao culture is the unique characteristics of the Chinese culture. Zen-Tao culture is the combination of Zen Buddhism and Taoism, but the Zen-Tao master culture is different from the religious Zen Buddhism or Taoism, its content is derived from the Buddha, the two, but more into daily life, its basic connotation, the Zen-Tao master less religious culture, the cultural taste. Design is the art of life, is the combination of the culture, technology and art. And the culture is the soul of design, has a unique cultural connotation will have unique design style. China’s visual transmission design to form with the Chinese characteristics is the Zen-Tao master culture into the design. This study discusses the Zen Buddhism, Taoism, Zen Buddhism, Taoism and Zen-Tao way of religious culture of the relationship is expounded. For Zen-Tao culture, discusses respectively from four aspects of the spirit, implication, form, and color. These four aspects to modern life and the effect of visual communication design and significance, as well as four aspects in the application of visual communication design, and in the form of actual case analysis, demonstrates the application. Of this study was to clarify the concept of Zen-Tao master culture and forms, the concept and the form of spirit, implication, form, color the four aspects, by way of example discusses the Zen-Tao master culture influence and significance of visual communication design. This study can be for visual communication design how to introduce Zen-Tao culture and the specific application provides to reference.
