With the increasing development of Chinese language teaching theory and the exploration of teaching practice, the importance of teaching design is even more prominent. Excellent teaching design is not only teachers ’bridge to teach, the guarantee of enhancing learners’ interest,, but also is an effective mean to improve the quality of Chinese teaching. Based on Lesson 12, "it is the ’pillow’, not ’needles’ ’ of "Developing Chinese: Elementary Integrated Ⅱ",this paper mainly aims at exploring how to complete the teaching design of Elementary Chinese Comprehensive Course better, and provide Related Teaching Chinese scholars some useful reference and new ideas.The article is consist of six chapters: The first chapter is an introduction, which concludes the reason of research, research significance and research methods.The second chapter is a comprehensive overview of teaching design, including content of teaching design, different views on teaching design of several scholars.Next show literature review about teaching design briefly; Then outline several concepts that are similarto teaching design(syllabus, teaching program, lesson plans), distinguish the similarities and differences between them. Finally express the principles that teaching design should follow.The third chapter are descriptions on relevant factors of the teaching design, including book, class style, students, teaching content, teaching strategies, teaching hours and so on.The fourth chapter is the concrete implementation steps of teaching design, including the words part,grammar part, textpart, andexercises part.The fifth chapter of this paper is questionnaire about the effect of the teaching design, which includes survey form, survey data and data analysis which focuses on weaknesses of the teaching design.The sixth chapter is the conclusion, emphasizing the advantages and disadvantages of this paper, aiming at forming a relatively complete teaching design template.
