In Chinese teaching,"speaking" is the fundamental purpose of language learning,so the oral course,as an important language skill course,is highly valued.The author spent one year internship at Inburi School in Thailand,and found some of the current situation of the school’s oral classroom,such as low participation in the classroom,fewer opportunities to speak,and insufficient time for practice;the class is dull and boring,and the teaching methods are too traditional,resulting in The student’s enthusiasm is not high,the learning initiative cannot be improved,and the oral level cannot be improved.In view of these current situations,the author decided to combine the multi-modal teaching model with the oral classroom.Therefore,I decided to apply the multi-modal teaching model to the Thai primary oral Chinese classroom,making full use of multimedia technologies such as PPT,audio,and video,and using more This kind of modal resource is used for teaching,and the specific application of the multi-modal teaching mode in the primary oral Chinese class of foreigners will be discussed in this regard.Enhance the interest of primary oral English classes in Thailand,and improve the effectiveness and practicality of oral teaching.The author takes all the students in the second and third classes of Yinburi School as the research object,and uses the "Chinese Course" as the textbook,based on the multi-modal teaching framework,through the teaching design and implementation of the Thai primary oral Chinese classroom.Through classroom observation method,questionnaire survey method and interview method,we obtained real and effective teaching feedback,and reflected and summarized the teaching feedback.We found that it is feasible and effective to apply the multi-modal teaching model to the primary oral classroom in Thailand.The multi-modal teaching model will greatly enhance the interest of oral English classroom,improve students’ oral learning attitude,and increase students’ enthusiasm for classroom participation.Research has proved that the use of multi-modal teaching mode can promote oral teaching and the improvement of students’ oral level.In addition,the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the multi-modal teaching model applied to the primary oral English teaching in Thailand from a dialectical point of view,and puts forward four teaching suggestions,hoping to provide some new references for the primary oral Chinese teaching in Thailand.
