After30years of reform and opening up,the economic of China grows rapidly with fastexpansion of total economic output.China’s position in the world economy has risen day byday.However,in the mean time of economic and social development of China made greatachievements, but we should clearly see that,the vast rural areas also faced with seriousproblems,mainly in the widening of urban-rural gap;rural economic and social development lasbehind,agricultural foundation is weak,peasant incomes increase so slow and rural labor forceemployment difficulty.The5th Plenary Session of the16thCentral Committee of Communist Partyof China proposed building a new socialist countryside,is a major strategic decision based onsolving the “three problems about countryside,agriculture and farmers”.Building a socialist newcountryside,farmers are the main part,the key is to rely on talent.But in the current situation,largeamount of young labor force flow out of rural areas,caused the shortage of young talents,thedevelopment of rural areas generally lack the participation or young people,increases the difficultyof solving the three problems about countryside.However,in recent years,we can also see many young people return to countryside to dobusiness or employment,how to attract and retain these young people and let them participate inthe career of building a new socialist countryside has very important significance to solve the ruraltalent dilemma.Through the field research in the farmer’s association in Puzhou town in YongjiShanxi province (later renamed the Puhan rural community),the author want to investigate thecauses of young people returning countryside and stay in the local development,in the hope ofprovide a reference for other regions to retain young talents.This study is divided into six chapters,the first chapter states the problem,the significance ofthe research,the definition of related concepts and research methods.The second chapter reviewsthe domestic research to understand the previous research about youth return tocountryside.Chapter three describes the relationship between the association’s processdevelopment and young people return to countryside. Chapter four to five is the core content ofthis article,mainly analysis the reason why these young people in this organization returningcountryside and why they choose to stay here.The last chapter made a number ofrecommendations to support youth to return to countryside by a summary of the analysis section.
