There has been a great change with the Reform and Open to the Outside World policyimplementing over the past30years, however, the social modernization, which is the singlemost important foundation for economic development, is still behind the economy. Thesocial conflicts and social problems along with the lower level of social modernization areincreasingly blocking the way to get to a stable and sustainable situation of economicmordnization, what’ more, they will be the barriers to build the harmonious societies and toachieve Chinese dream. Therefore, the innovations of social management are becoming oneof the themes during the process in contemporary development. As a matter of the fact, theroots for China’s development lies in rural areas, and so is to the social problems. It is veryurgent and necessary to strenghten the management in the vast rural areas. There are so many problems in rural areas’ management. Among these problems themost sever one is the lackness of subjectivity for most farmers, which is always ignored insocial construction. The farmers are the owner of rural society, at the same time they are thesubjects and participants of rural social management. If we talk rural social management inthe lackness of farmers, we would lose the right starting point and standpoint. Only in theleadness of Party and government and through fighting, construction and creation by thehands of farmers, rural social management would get success. Others can not repalce, or itwould be “acclimatized”, affect the construction and development of farmers’ subjectivity, and then lead to the lackness of farmers’ subjectivity. As for farmers’ subjectivity lacking, they are totally reflected in the aspects of self-consciousness, autonomy, iniative and creative, etc.Based on the timely thoughts of social management innovation, this paper presents theresearch ways of three stages, and they are the patterns of “putting forward to the problems, analyzing and solving the problems”. Meanwhile, it uses X-village as a case study toelaborate this problem, the lackness of farmers’ subjectivity. And it confirms that the farmers’subjectivity is indeed lackness in rural social management. And finally it brings the resolutions and explainations through the state, society, and indivaduals respected, hoping tobe helpful to our social management innovation in recent days, even to be good governance insocial management and to achieve Chinese dream.
