In the history of modern philosophy, there exists a shift from absolute subjectivity to inter-subjectivity. Inter-subjectivity discusses the possibility of communication and emphasizes the function of various subjects in social history. It not only admits the inner differences between various doers, but also recognizes the inner unity of various subjects and suggests ways to their union.Among traditional theories, Tailor put forward an "Economic Man" hypothesis, which induced a series of management theories. Mayo vetoed it and raised his "Social Man" hypothesis. Thereafter, various hypotheses on human nature were brought about. All these indicates that prerequisite hypothesis on the western management theory are no exception in the shift from subjectivity to inter-subjectivity.Every coin has two sides. So it is with philosophical thoughts. Any thorough philosophical pattern should not be a stubborn insists on its own stand, but a homoneous fusion of the two.In the same way, both economic man and social man hypotheses have their own advantages. In actual management, the two should be reasonably mixed up to satisfy both economic and social needs. "Decision Man" hypothesis and Drucker's management thoughts are all such mixture. And such mixture should also be what the future management theories pursue.
