TV shopping is the product of the competition environment. TV shopping industryof China rapidly develops and makes great achievements. Meanwhile, the televisionshopping industry development process also exposes some problems, such as falseadvertising issues, service issues, integrity crisis, and has seriously hampered thedevelopment of the industry, TV shopping began to decline. TV shopping is the mostimportant issue of false advertising hindering the development of the televisionshopping industry. TV shopping vivid false advertising performance practices, forms,easy to make consumer misunderstanding arising from pseudo-shopping needs,resulting in the loss of consumers. TV shopping is not only false advertising to thedetriment of consumers, but also to companies, television stations and the entireadvertising industry adversely affected. In this paper, in civil law and common lawcountries, regions on TV false advertising laws and regulations draw on the practicalexperience under the premise of the analysis, combined with our current situation,proposed a series of legislative proposals and measures to improve reasonably regulatethe order of the advertising industry and promote the healthy development of thetelevision shopping industry.
