A Study Of Marx 's Human Rights Thought Before And After The Yearbook

Thinking and concerning on the problem of human rights is an important clue throughout Marx’s philosophy,even in the philosophy of Marxism,and it is also an important dimension of understanding the Marxist philosophy. During the period of "Young Hegelians", Marx was effected by modern natural rights of human rights theory and the philosophy of Hegel, the ideas of human rights began to sprout, and in his doctoral dissertation,on the help of the active principle of self-awareness,Marx promoted a free atheism. The period of the Rheinische Zeitung, Marx had the first systematic presentation on human rights issues. However, when referring to the problems of material interests,Marx’s rational criticism of human rights led to a crisis of faith.At the time of "Germany and France Yearbook", from the radical democracy,Marx turned to communism, with the critique of Hegel’s philosophy of right,he started the road of human rights criticism. The writing of "German Ideology" is a mark of the creation of historical materialism, Marx’s human rights ideas began to mature.From the perspective of historical materialism,Marx analyzed the fundamental cause of human rights, and, ultimately, he discarded the human rights criticism to pursuit the value of the united body of the free people of communism.This article makes a preliminary study of Marx’s human rights ideas during the period of "Germany and France Yearbook" and teases out the basic clues the transformation of human rights. Briefly, before and after the period of "Germany and France Yearbook", Marx’s human rights ideas had gone through three stages of development:the profess stage, the stage of critique on modern bourgeois ideas of human rights and the mature of human rights. Therefore, about the logical architecture, this paper has combined the development of the modern western bourgeois ideas of human rights, to start along the path of development of Marx’s thought. We can see that during the period before and after"Germany and France Yearbook",there were two very stark contrasts: on the one hand, because of the this critique of human rights,there was a contrast between Marx and the modern bourgeois; on the other hand, with the mature of Marx’s human rights ideas,thus formated a contrast between different stages of Marx’s human rights.For the first comparison, mainly by means of human rights criticism of Marx’s critique of Hegel’s philosophy,we start the discuss, and thus lead to the thinking about the relationship between the concepts of labor,human essence and Marx’s human rights criticism.For the second contrast, lead to the analysis of, on the stage of the mature of the human rights ideas,why Marx discarded the human rights critique before. Finally, in order to understand Marx’s human rights ideas in more depth,this article briefly examines the significance and revelation of Marx’s human rights ideas in this period.
