Typical Shaping And Political Mobilization: A Political Analysis Of The Movement Of Dazhai In Agriculture

Setting up a typical, that is typical shape, is a long-established working methods of the Communist Party of China and a way of the political governance. Since the founding of New China, the party and the state in order to achieve specific political goals, established a variety of typical in different historical periods and different areas. These typical also played its orientation and demonstration capabilities to reach on the purpose of mobilization, control and integration of the whole society, and ultimately achieve the national governance goal in the specific historical period. Such a way of governance that played a significant role in the political life in China, however, is not be able to get comprehensive attention and specialized research in China’s political scholars. This paper selects a production typical DaZhai that created in the agricultural sector in the period of socialist construction as the research object, using the method of process-analysis of events, comprehensively discuss the founding, cultivating, establishing, publicizing process of DaZhai and the political mobilization process of "Learning from DaZhai in Agriculture " campaign, and also analysis these questions by the political theory, strive to re-examine the in the political perspective of the typical shape, and summary and reflect the behavior of typical shaping in the period of socialist construction in our country, discover its advantages and disadvantages, and ultimately provide some reference and inspiration to enhance the governance capability of our country.The thesis is divided into five parts. The first chapter mainly introduces the research origin of this paper, and summarizes the current research of the typical shape, then points out the research methods used in this paper. Lay the foundation for the full text of writing.The second chapter focuses on the discovered, cultivated and established process of DaZhai typical. Firstly the thesis analyzes how the DaZhai typical entered into the political vision step by step from local to central, and finally was setted up as the advanced model in national agricultural front, and points out that the typical shape of DaZhai implies the need for agricultural production and collectivization typical by the political authority political, as well as the need for political mobilization of our country. And affirms the mobilization roles played by four kinds of mobilization strategies in the process of shaping DaZhai typical.The fourth chapter describes the change process of image shaping of the political typical DaZhai and the connotation of national political mobilization, points out that changes in shaping the image of the political typical DaZhai reflect the connotation transformation of political mobilization. With the changes in the political environment, the political mobilization content and goals have changed, thus the political intention of shaping the political typical has changed. People learn from typical experience of socialist construction, to learn a typical class struggle experience, the campaign "Learning from DaZhai in Agriculture "deviated from the original direction, becomes a mandatory political movement.The fifth chapter makes a theoretical generalization and induction for the behavior of typical shaping, noting that the typical shape is an important way of implementing political mobilization for the nation, the political mobilization needs of our country makes shaping DaZhai typical as possible; and make an objective evaluation on the campaign-style governance model that treat typical shape as the main way and through political mobilization to accomplish the final goals of governance. Finally, the paper points out, the typical shape does not have universality and immutability, facing the changes in the new era of political and social environment, campaign-style governance, as a kind of traditional governance mode, must make timely adjustments to be able to re-adapt to the development of the times and become an effective governance tool.In a word, this paper uses the theory of typical shape and political mobilization to re-examine the campaign "Learning from DaZhai in Agriculture", and analysis the founding, cultivating, establishing, publicizing process of DaZhai and the political mobilization process of "Learning from DaZhai in Agriculture" campaign, reveals the operational logic in the process of national political mobilization hidden in the process of shaping one of the national typical, and finally get the conclusion that the typical shaping is an important way of political mobilization. Therefore, we not only intuitively understand the generation mechanism and its political values of typical and profoundly understand the essence of Chinese typical shaping behavior, but also deepen the understanding of actual effect of the governance campaign style patterns that treat the typical shaping as the main strategy, and then reach the national governance goal through political mobilization.
