| With the gradual establishment of Chinese socialist market economy, the labor relations in China show new characters of contractualization and diversification. The problem is that the labor supply exceeds demand in the labor market, which leads to a weak status of the individual labor who has hardly discourse right of wage distribution under the new circumstance. As the basic interests of workers cannot be safeguarded, more and more cases of invading the employee’s rights occurred, and the number of labor disputes increased due to wage distribution in recent years.The nature of pushing forward the establishment of Collective Wage Consultation System is to determine the labor payments by collective negotiations between the enterprise (employer) and the trade union (employee) according to law. As an international practice in accordance with the trend of social development, the Collective Wage Negotiation System should be incorporated into the system of socialist market economy, thus promote the equity and justice of our society.As the main part of the Collective Wage Negotiation System, the trade union plays an important role in it. However, because of the special character and status, there are large differences between trade union in China and in other countries, which result in lots of queries at home and abroad.In the first part of this paper, the author made a brief introduction of the Collective Wage Negotiation System, analyzed the origin and development history of wage Negotiation in western market economy countries and proved the necessity of carrying out the Collective Wage Negotiation System in our country at present. Then the author discussed various influence factors of the wage negotiation in aspect of the character and ability of the trade union. Further more, the author take the Nanhai Honda strike and practices of profession wages collective negotiation in Germany as examples in order to analyze the difficult position of Chinese trade union. On the basis of above, measurement and suggestion were put forward in the last chapter for further improvements of the affect and function of Chinese trade union during the Collective Wage Negotiation System in our country by clearing trade union position, strengthening trade union power and promoting the industrial trade union. |
