A Study On The Rights And Interests Of Married Tibetan Women In Pastoral Area Under The Theory Of Empowerment

With the localize development of social work in China, it ranges from theories to practice, from region to local culture, and finally touch the research of theories’ applying localization, which has been moving forward perpetually since it appears in the society. However, as China contained many ethnic background people with various culture, it also had a large of population who were dwelling in the different geographical environment, all of those were just the problem to us for social work march localization and professionalization. Thus, there are more social service projects for ethnic areas are urgent. As a part of vulnerable groups, Tibetan women from rural pasture still has the problem on their rights, which makes the author thinks about it as meaningful studying subject of rights’ protection. This paper regarded the pasture married women from Luqu County in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture as its objects, conducting a investigation by the approach of questionnaires, interviews and documents, which completely based on the Empowerment Theories, and trying to put their rights and interests’ issues under the frame structure of Empowerment Theories, excavating the reason of invalid rights and interests, then giving the advice to help Tibetan herd-women in Luqu County achieving the real meaning rights and interests in the society.
