On Wang Chong 's Social And Political Thoughts

"Lunheng" is fabulous work written by Wang Chong who dedicated his life in which involves many questions about society, philosophy and politics. Wang Chong is an ancient Chinese ideologist and his book content is abundant and complicated. There are amounts of academic literature about Wang Chong. This article would like to systemize Wang Chong’s thoughts on society and politics from "Lunheng" though methods of analysis and induce. The writer hopes to understand in depth Wang’s thoughts and develop Wang Chong’s thoughts comprehensively.The article consists of three chapters:The first one is about introducing Wang Chong’s life and background of his thought.Second one is to expound Wang Chong’s literature and his comments and critiques on society and politics.Third one is from perspective of philosophy analysis, to explain Wang’s social and politic framework. To research deeply and detailedly on Wang Chong’s politic thinking and influence, including his view of life, view of social-history, ideal on govern by non-interference and strategy of politics.etc.As an outstanding intellectual in Eastern Han dynasty, Wang Chong who hate the fabricated and had courage to criticize social and politic ills, disclose official corruption in a practical and realistic way to propose his own proper governance behavior and manner to be an official. Wang Chong’s thinking of society and politics deserve great attention, which is helpful to understand development of eastern and Western Han dynasty’s culture.
