Contemporary Interpretation Of Marx 's Critical Thought Of Modernity

Our main task in this dissertation is to study Marx’s thought in the horizon of the critique of modernity. The task includes two connected dimensions : studying the problem of modernity from the perspective of Marx’s thought and interpreting Marx’s thought in the horizon of the critique modernity. Its main body comprises of five sections : Part one of “ The background of problem of modernity, part tow of “Innate connection between Marx’s thought and The critique of modernity”, part three of “Marx’s critique of ideology”, part four of “Marx’s critique of capital logic”, part five of “ the meaning of Marx’s critique of mofernity”.Firstly, we introduct the background of our question and our main task in this dissertation.Part two explains the concept of “Modern” and “Modernity” and then we point out that the critique of modernity based on human’s reflection of modernity. We hold the point that Marx’s critique of modernity is an important parrt of this reflection.Part three delineats Marx’s critique on religion, speculative philosophy, consciousness of modernity. We think that the establishment of Marx’s critique of modernity is colosely connected with the reflection of the religion and speculative philosophy and consciousness of modernity.Part four points out that the critique of capital logic is the core part of Marx’s critique of modernity. And for Marx, “goods”, “capital”, “alienation” are the basic categories in his critique of capital logic.Part five illustrates the importance of Marx’s critique of modernity. We hold the point that Marx’s critique of modernity provides a totality perspective for manifold forms of critical theory of modernity.
