Nowadays, the development of the industry of circulation in China is standing at the important point of changing. With the change of people's consciousness in consumption, more and more people pursue the individual and different products, which has become a kind of trend and brought enormous impact on manufacturing and distribution. The innovation and development in logistics and goods delivery will be the competitive strategic choice of enterprises in 21 century. At the same time, our country has joined the WTO, which can urge directly the development of logistics and delivery faster. In recently years, the goods delivery has become the focus of our economy. The delivery can contact with every part of national economy tightly just as the blood vessel of the body. But because we has not got deeply comprehension and understanding on chain operation and the essence of delivery centers, chain operation has not got tremendous development even through the delivery centers of products has get very fast development in quantity.As we know the management of goods delivery in chain operation is very difficult and is restricted by a lot of factors; especially in the area of Chengdu, such as it is difficult to make out the plan of delivery, to choose the route of delivery, to delivery the goods on time and to assess the performance. At the same time, it can be influenced by many uncontrollable factors, such as distribution of customers, traffic network, the limitation of traffic and the requirement of delivery time etc. so it is necessary to find the current problems of goods delivery centers in Chengdu. To choose the suitable model of delivery can point out the direction to the development of industry of delivery of chain in Chengdu.The thesis is based on the above mentioned background. According to relevant theories on chain operation and products delivery, it combine the actual situation of economic development and infrastructure, summary the current problems of goods delivery in chain operation in Chengdu, and put forward to the conductive suggestion. The concrete content includes six aspects: the fist is to introduce the research aim, significance, methods on chain operation and goods delivery. The second part is literature review. In this chapter, mainly domestic and international research results on chain business and goods delivery will be introduced briefly. The third chapter is to present briefly the basic features, objectives, and basic types of chain operation, focusing on the definition of delivery center and functions, and discussing the complement relationship between chain and delivery and the important roles of delivery center in chain operation. The fourth chapter the current situation and current problems of goods delivery centers in Chengdu will be analyzed and focus on the summary of the failed reasons about the chain enterprise "hao jia zai" in Chengdu. The fifth chapter will introduce the advanced goods delivery centers and modes, and through comparing the mode of several delivery centers, put forward to how to establish the socialized and professional goods delivery centers. The sixth chapter will put forward to how to establish goods delivery centers in Chengdu in future.
