Study On Inventory Strategy Of Large-Scale Chain Supermarket's Distribution Center Based On Supply

With China's entrance into WTO, the international retail enterprise enter the Chinese market more rapidly. The international retail enterprise are pouring into China and expanding their market share with high speed. The competition between the supermarkets mainly lies on the inventory control. So the distribution center's inventory management plays important role. The domestic supermarkets'development just begins in our country, and there are many gaps between the domestic supermarket and the international supermarket. It is not certain to gain good effect if we follow the lead of the developed countries 'enterprise because of the different countries'situation. Based on this situation, the author researched and analyzed the supermarket distribution center's inventory control system.,and set up the models according to the different kinds of supermarket to get the comparatively universal inventory control method for the reconstruction of the domestic large-scale supermarket distribution center inventory management system. Firstly, the paper introduced the idea of the inventory control, and analyzed the requisition of the inventory control system under the environment of the supply chain. Then the author analyzed the common problem of the large-scale chain enterprise inventory management system. Then the paper put forward a method of designing the inventory management system based on the ideology of VMI and virtual distribution center. Second, the paper utilizes the new method based on the vendor managed inventory (VMI) to solve the above mentioned problems. This thesis set up a corresponding model, and has solved the subject matter existing in the inventory management distribution center of the domestic supermarket. Finally, the author has chosen a typical large-scale chain enterprise group—SUGUO chain supermarket. According to the conditions of the company, the thesis designed an inventory management system for SUGUO company . And the paper analyzed the profit and the danger if using the system.
