Research On The Relationship Between Technology And Consumption

For the purpose of survival, people must be engaged in the activity in production to gain the materials consumption. It has already linked production to consumption closely. The beginning of the human activity of production is based on technology. So the interaction between production and consumption manifests the relationship between technology and consumption finally.This article studies the interaction . In order to change the unreasonable consumption mode and solve the environmental negative effects that the traditional industrial technology brings, this article endeavors to bring forward that it is necessary to set up benign cycle mechanism, encourage ecological consumption and develop ecological technology. They help to realize the sustainable development of the society.The systematic demonstration mainly consist of three parts:Part two defines the technology and its form, the consumption and its conformation. Consumption discussed in this article specially means Consumption of the goods (called the products too ). And it puts technology on the level of industrial technology , attempting to research from products designing technology and products manufacturing technology.Part three probes into the interaction of technical development and the social consumption: On one hand technology plays a decisive role in consumption; On the other hand, as a kind of social factor, it also influents the development of technology. Thereafter, it analyses the defects in the culture of traditional consumption and technology.Part four analyses the significance and substance of ecological consumption and ecological technology, and brings forward benign cycle mechanism so as to realize the sustainable development of the society.
