Study On Enhancing Enterprise Technical Innovation Capacity In Fujian Province

The 21st century is an age of information and economy, taking information as its carrier and scientific and technological development its power. Information economy is characterized by rapid soar in science and technology. Technical innovation is the core of the competitive capacity of an enterprise and the motivity of its development. Therefore, to survive the competition, an enterprise has to enhance its technical innovation capacity constantly. However, nowadays the market economy in China is becoming perfect and the transitional period after China entered WTO is coming to an end. Under such circumstances, many problems have arisen in the economic development of Fujian province, including irrationality in structure, extensiveness in growth and the bottle neck in resources and environment. These problems severely affect the economic problems in Fujian. To solve all these problems, so as to keep the economy developing rapidly and soundly, the only way out is to adopt the strategy of strengthening the province by science and technology and enhance the technical innovation capacity of industries and enterprises in Fujian province. Based on relevant research and theories worldwide, this paper has proposed an index system for evaluating the technical innovation abilities. It has systematically analyzed the technical innovation capacities of industries and enterprises in Fujian in comparison with those in some other provinces and cities in China, from which it presents the great gaps between industries and enterprises in Fujian and those in other developed provinces or cities. On the basis of these, this paper has analyzed and summarized problems existing in the enterprise technical innovation capacities in Fujian province and the contributing factors of these problems. In addition, it has explored the causes of inadequacy in enterprise innovation abilities in Fujian and found the key factors that influence all these. In order to enhance in the technical innovation capacities of industries and enterprises in Fujian province, this paper has proposed the thread for realizing this and put forward policies and measures from the viewpoints of both the government and the enterprises, thus providing references for Fujian to develop its enterprise technical innovation capacity.
