Research on job burnout has a history of more than 30 years abroad, but it is still in its startup stage in china. In 1996, Golembiewski and other researchers launched a series of investigations on this issue across North American, Europe and Asia. Results showed that job burnout rate was higher in Asia and Europe compared with North American. Both survey reports issued by chinahr website and Shanghai Acdemy of Social Scienses showed that many people were suffered from job burnout nowadays in China. Professor Yanxu from Bengjing Normal University thinks that China is in a breakout stage on this issue and job burnout has become a social epidemic.Influence factors of job burnout were divided into situational factor and individual factor in general. Job-person fit model was introduced by Maslach and Leiter, this model suggested that the great the gap, or mismatch, between the person and the job environment, the greater the likelihood of burnout;conversely, the greater the match, the lower the likelihood of burnout. Leadership style is one of the factors of situational factors;locus of control is one of the factors of the individual factors. The subject discusss the associated influence of leadership style and locus of control to job burnout, that is, to explore whether there is some kind of match relationship between leadership style and locus of control to the burnout of employees and what kind of the match relationship it is.57 experimental questionnaires were issued to perform initial investigation. After the analysis of the results, the questionnaire was revised and formal questionnaire was made. Then 219 formal questionnaires were issued to perform the formal investigation. Result analysis shows: influence of transformational leadership to the job burnout mainly focuses on the exhaustion and cynicism dimension, while transaction leadership style mainly influence the inefficacy dimension;iner-control trend has a negative relationship with cynicism and inefficiency dimension while exterior-control trend has a positive with inefficiency dimension, extreme high iner-control trend or extreme higher exterior-control can result in increment in all ofthe three dimension of job burnout;compared with transaction leadership style, transformational leadership benefits the decrement degree of job burnout with iner-control employee, while with exterior-control employee, transactional leadership benefits the decrement degree of job burnout.Research on this issue in this paper has some shortcomings, for example, objective selecting, questionnaire design and its influence from other variables could be optimized furthermore. Future research could aim at specific industry or professional to investigate associated influence of other situational and individual factors to the job burnout to make the job-person fit modle more precise and complete.
