In construction project management, effective information management is veryimportant to investment, plan and quality control. With the significant progress ofinformation technology and the theory of project management, the informationmanagement of construction management now plays more and more important role.Information Lifecycle Management is a new information management modeladvanced recently. It manages the information though all lifecycle, from the phases ofinformation's establishment, application, pigeonhole to disposition. The purpose ofinformation lifecycle management is helping the user to get most value in allinformation phases.This article mainly studies how to use the theory of information lifecycle managementin construction project management. Firstly, the article studies the theory frame ofproject management and analyses the classification of project information and theprinciple and method of information management.Secondly, the article introduces the theory of information lifecycle managementincluding content, driving factors and the division of deploying phases of strategy.And it also introduces the implement methods of information lifecycle managementand puts it into the practice of project management.Finally, the article analyses some problems used in information lifecycle management,expatiates the importance of communication between parties of contractor, employerand engineer, discusses the idea of project structure decomposing and coding. It alsoestablishes the evaluation indices system of the information lifecycle management andadopts the method named Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation based on The AnalyticHierarchy Process to estimate the effect. |
