As entered the WTO, our domestic economy has gradually caught up with the economy of the worldwide. As our foodstuff and oil market opened to the world, many big corporations with rich strength have landed on the domestic market which make the competition drastic. The actuality how to deal with the competition is hardly avoided. In order to survive and develop in the market, the domestic corporations should enhance the competition ability across-the-board. As entered the WTO, the competition in the domestic cereal and grease market is more and more intense. Therefor, the only choice for the companies is construct reformed and strategy adjusted.The Hubei cereal and oil import and export corporation is born of the traditional planned economy system and is the leading cereal and oil corporation in Hubei. However, as the circulation system innovation of the cereal has been put forward gradually and the contacting with the international market, the market situation has profoundly changed and the industry competition has been unparalleled extensive. In order to maintain and develop the competed advantage, the Hubei cereal and oil import and export corporation has to use advanced management theory and establish the marketing strategy target according to the industry environment and the ability and resource of itself.Integrated with the basic theory of the marketing strategy and my understanding of the related theory, this thesis has analyzed the inside and outside environment of the corporation, and the brand, channel and the core competition building, according to which the corporation can make its maintaining developing. It also can be the consult and use for reference for other companies.This thesis is consisted of five parts. The first part is a summary that mainly introduces the background and the work need to be done. The study of strategy developing has also been concluded.The second part is analysis of the product and the environment. With the PEST analysis and competition structure analysis, this thesis analyzed the environment ofthe Hubei cereal and oil import and export corporation.The third part is analysis of the core competition. According to the environment, this thesis built the core competition and marketing matrix while programming the corporation strategy with the theory of core competition.The fourth part is the building the marketing strategy. And the importance of the building brand and developing channels has been put forward through the SWOT analysis. The way of building brand and developing channels has also been put forward according to the practical situation.The fifth part is discussing the ways and means dealing with the problems coming out when the marketing strategy is brought into effect, including the human resource and corporation culture.
