Research On Knowledge Sharing Mechanisms In Enterprises

In knowledge economy times, knowledge is the initial factor for business enterprise success;knowledge management becomes the motive source of business enterprise innovation. Knowledge management takes knowledge as the core, manages knowledge and applies it into management;enhance exaltation contingency and innovation ability through knowledge sharing and collective intelligence.As the core part of knowledge management, knowledge sharing is a difficulty to it. To make every use of business enterprise resources flow freely and being shared efficiently and fully among enterprise employees, between enterprise employees and enterprise itself are problems that need to be resolved immediately in the process of modern enterprise knowledge management practices. The quick development of science and technology makes it less and less difficult to share knowledge.Therefore, the systematic research of enterprise knowledge sharing mechanisms not only has profound theoretic and academic meaning, but also has strong realistic meaning. The research will help to find out an accessible way in management and culture construction to strengthen enterprise core competence by developing its knowledge resources.This paper discusses how to establish knowledge sharing mechanisms in business enterprise through literature research, comprehensive analysis and case study . The paper consists of five parts.The first part analyses knowledge sharing background and its meaning makes a conclusion of the present knowledge sharing research and application conditions.The second part elaborates the fundamental theoretic knowledge of knowledge sharing, including the meaning, classification and characteristics of knowledge;knowledge sharing contents and processes;the meaning of executing knowledge sharing in enterprise;analyzing the possibility of execute knowledge sharing in business enterprise.The third part discusses the obstacles that should be overcame in enterprise knowledge sharing.The fourth part is the core part of this paper. This part elaborates how to set up knowledge sharing mechanisms in three aspects: application mechanism, incentive mechanism and culture mechanism.In the end, this paper takes Booz Allen Hamilton consulting company as an example, analyses its successful experience in knowledge sharing practices.
