Build Partnership In Supply Chain

Because of the intensive market competition, higher customer expectation andthe acceleration of products updating, the partnership in supply chain becomes moreand more important. It can reduce costs effectively, improve service level, promotethe integration of the whole supply chain and produce long-term competitiveadvantages. Actually there are still a lot of problems in the construction of supplychain partnership. In China, studies in this field often concentrate on importance and problems ofpartnerships and giving some fragmentary suggestions, but relatively less focus onhow to analyze, build and manage supply chain partnership systematically.We will firstly discuss the current development of supply chain partnership;Secondly,through the introduction to partnership model, we will suggest a way onhow to build supply chain partnership;Finally, a case study will be given.It is hoped that this paper could offer some reference for the operation practice ofthe supply chain partnership in our country.
