The Study On The Port-City Economic Interaction Relationship In Qinhuangdao

Abstract: The mutual dependence and improvement between ports and coast cities are the general principle in the development of ports and coast cities all around the world. On one hand it explores the vicissitude process of the relationship between ports and coast cities. On the other hand, it reflects mechanism of the mutual effect ion between them. The development of the port will bring along the development of the city where it exists. On the contrary, the prosperity of the coast city will also improve the prosperity of the port. Therefore they are supplement of each other. Although this interaction plays an important role in the development of the ports and the cities, there are few experimental researches on concrete ports and cities so far.The research has been done in two aspects: the affection of the port to city economy and the affection of city economy to port. First, by using the method of combination of qualitative description and quantitative calculation, the writer does the research on port-city interaction from the views of port economic contribution, the affective mechanism of port industry to city economic gross and concrete industry, the good supply that the city provides to the port, the influence of the city to port transport and benefit and the harmony analysis on port-city interaction. Then he concludes the features of port-city interaction, recognizes the phases of it, and proposes some politic suggestions on improving port-city interaction in Qinhuangdao in the end of the thesis.
