In the last three decades, the container carrying trade has developed quickly in our country and the container throughput keeps a high-speed increase. The existing abilities of loading-and-unloading and administrating in Chinese seaports couldn't satisfy the increasing needing of container transportation. Facing this situation, new container terminals are being energetically constructed while old ones are being rebuilt and expanded in our country. There is a problem of optimal configuration of resources, whichever way we take. That is how to reasonably use the construction investment of port, how to improve the efficiency of terminal's micro-economic and social macro- economic.The container terminal is a key part of container transportation chains and its inner logistics system is a typical network. One of the main contents of research on logistics network is to configurate the resource in network effectively, to bring every net node fully into play. As to logistics network in container terminals, the material undertaker of node's functions is network resources in terminals, such as berth, quay-crane, yard-crane, yard, container truck, terminal's gate, and so on. The key point of research in the paper is to optimize the configuration of these resources.The followings are the main contents in the thesis.Firstly, a literature review is provided on the domestic and abroad research on resources configuration of logistics network in container terminals, and some shortages are discussed.Secondly, system model of container terminals is built based on multi-level queuing network theory. The thesis also discusses the kinds of customers, system structure, serving routes and serving methods of container terminals' queuing network.Thirdly, simulation model of container terminals is built based on WITNESS software system. The model is also validated in the thesis.Fourthly, the 4th chapter analyses the compositive cost in container terminals, introduces its calculational methods, and regards it as the objective fiinction of resources configuration optimization.At last, according to the characters of resources in container terminals, the thesis presents Graded Numeric Simulation method to optimize resources configuration of Rizhao container terminal. The best scheme and corresponding operational statistics are given in the end.
