Since the reform and opening to the outside world, the interior and external environment of our enterprises has changed thoroughly. Corporate culture innovation has become more and more important in the contemporary era. It is clearer than ever to people that corporate culture innovation is a huge promotion power to the development of enterprises. This thesis is based on the basic concept of corporate culture to expound the relation between corporate culture innovation and corporate development, with corporate culture innovation of China petroleum and Gas Pipeline Company as the example. The first part: the basic concept of corporate culture corporate culture and the content of corporate culture innovation. the basic concept of corporate culture corporate culture is the whole of business idea, object, principle, conduct, social responsibility and corporate image. It is the incarnation of corporate personality and the sole of corporate existence, competition and development. As an integral past of social culture, corporate culture incarnate social culture in an enterprise. Corporate culture and social culture is the key competitiveness and the important factor for continued development of contemporary enterprises. Compared with social culture, corporate culture has some different characters: first, utility. The characteristic of enterprises is pursuing profit maximization. It should incarnate in corporate culture. Second, renewability. Renewability is the essencial characteristic of corporate culture and pour vitality into the enterprises. Third, distinctiveness. As the intrinsic trait of an enterprises, it reflects in every aspect of an enterprise. the content of corporate culture innovation. Innovation is of destroying the old and establishing the new and keeping up with the time. It means the creation of new thought, new idea, new theory, new method and new technology. As an important content of corporate innovation, corporate culture innovation essencially means that the corporate personnel change their concepts and work with new thought. Why we must innovate out corporate culture? The outside environment change is the external cause of corporate culture innovation. And the inside environment change is the interior promotion power to corporate culture innovation. Corporate culture innovation is also determined by the characteristic of corporate culture. The second part: Corporate culture innovation is the promotion power to the development of contemporary enterprises. The establishment and development of corporate culture form strong cultural power which shape cohesion, learning ability and renewability in an enterprise and shape great radiation out of an enterprise. The cultural power influence every aspect of an enterprise and can propel the enterprise forward. It mainly enterprise in the next points: First, corporate culture innovation make the corporate personnel a great cohesive force, which found labour power for enterprises. Second, corporate culture innovation form learning enterprises which provide intellectual support to the corporate development. Third, corporate culture innovation bring about rejuvenating of idea, system, technology and management. It is decisive power for the corporate development. The third part: the basic thought about contemporary corporate culture innovation. Corporate culture innovation is a complicated systems engineering. The author intend to offer a basic thought of contemporary corporate culture innovation. First, to establish the mechanism of contemporary corporate culture innovation. It actually relate to the system innovation. The perfect corporate culture innovation system can assure the systemization of corporate culture innovation. The establishment of corporate culture research institution can provide corporate culture innovation thought to the corporate managers. The government should set up corporate culture research center to offer our enterprises instruction about corporate culture innovation second, to establish corporate culture system based on ability. It means to set up corporate idea, personnel strategy and competition mechanism on the base of ability. Third, to establish corporate culture system aiming at learning enterprises. The object of corporate culture innovation is raising the corporate learning atmosphere. The corporate personnel should beencouraged to study hard, transcend themselves and then form a learning team. Through the participation of all corporate members into learning, a really learning corporation will take shape. The more important is the corporate manager should guide the learning of the personnel to be positive and effective, and to be in service of the corporate development. The core of corporate culture should reflect the marrow of contemporary culture and the object of corporate development. The corporate culture innovation should also reflect humane culture, ecological culture, safety thought and internationalization trend, fourth, the culture innovation should conform to the information trend. The methods of corporate culture should be renewed continually.
