A Study On The Comparison And The Development Of Shoes-making Vocational Education Of Fujian And Taiwan

Shoes manufacture industry in the mainland of China has come to the fore as a new force in world-wide shoes manufacture industry. Mainland China has leaped to the largest shoes producing and exporting country in the world in short decades. The Chinese shoes manufacture industry has presented special formidable developing situation, especially after entering WTO. Fujian Province is an athletic shoes production base in our country. The talent problem is the key point during the period of second undertaking and the development of adjustment in Fujian shoes manufacture industry. Talent resource development lacks of powerful actions. For example, low-level talents have to do everything; high-level technical talents are insufficient and multi-skilled talents who both possess the spirit of creativity and development and are good at management are lacking seriously. After more than forty-year development, Taiwan shoes manufacture industry has been the senior in the world-wide shoes manufacture industry. Shoe-making technology and its correspondent research level in Taiwan province has been developed comprehensively. Especially, the shoes-making educational system in which secondary/high vocational education, training education and researching centre have been integrated has been established. Although shoes-making education in Fujian province do have some different educational ways, such as training, full-time schooling, secondary/high education and regular college course, it is common that teaching has been divorced from production seriously. In this thesis the author did some research through the documents analysis, professional ability analysis and experiment analysis. The thesis includes origins of Fujian and Taiwan shoes-making industry, the development and characteristics of Taiwan shoes-making industry, the present situation and deficiency of Fujian shoes-making education and the exploration in the reform of curriculum of shoes making. It aims to conduct the reform accordingly and reformulate it after the comparison of the origins and development between and Taiwan, and provide the reference with the further development of Fujian shoes-making industry.
