A Study On The Location Planning Of Logistics Park In Wuhan

This paper analyzes the location planning of Logistics Park (LP for short) in Wuhan. As an advanced form of logistics node, LP, which is also developed very quickly in China, is of great importance in promoting the development of modern logistics. As the China geographical center, Wuhan is of exceptional geographical superiority and good industry foundation to build LP. This paper firstly expound on the necessity and importance of building LP through analyzing the difference between the LP and other logistics nodes; then analyzing the actuality of Wuhan LP through studying the experience of LP in Japan and Germany and some theories about LP. This paper has done some detail researches about the major four LPs in Wuhan from the points of location, industry support, logistics node, service level, transportation mode etc, moreover, it has provided some suggestion in adjusting the LP location planning after the study and taking the practice into consideration.
