Based on the foundation of competitive advantage theory, this thesis research on the competitiveness and nonprice influce factors of Chinese apple.With the analysis about the production,trade and consumption of Chinese apple,the competitiveness and influence factors of it is expounded and compared with that of advanced producers, then there is the SWOT analysis about these influce factors.At last some policy implications which would improve the competitiveness of Chinese apple are put forward.The main issues of the research are put as following:Firstly, with the international comparing of domestic market sharing rate , international market sharing rate, market sharing rate in importantent partners' import market, and trading competitive index, we find Chinese fresh apple has stronger competitiveness in neighborhood, has no competitiveness in the district of European union and American.But compared with the huge production of Chinese apple, the competitiveness is very small.At the same time, Chiese apple juice gains a greater competitiveness on the international market.Secondly, there is the research about the main nonprice influence factors of Chinese apple, and discovered the following:Chinese apple has the nature condition advantage and hang behind in technology; the economy and policy & statute conditions are good for improving the competitiveness of low grade apple in neighborhood, but bad for the compete in top grade apple.These factors in the planting section, such as the low quality, the growing demanding of food safety, low productivity, poor configuration in variety, low input and high proportion of fertilizer and pesticide, and the low organizing of the farmers, make the low competitiveness of Chinese apple.As to the factors in the unplanting section, the low commercial quality and the insufficiency of refrigeration in storage and transportation make mostly of Chinese apple swarm into the market in the same season, and can not store long. And the lag between prodce of fresh apple and the machining makes the consume of fresh apple inadequateThen there is the SWOT analyses of these factors, and suggestion about the stratagem that Chinese apple should take in the market competiton is presented too.Finally, the policy implications for China to improve apple competitiveness are put forward as the following: farmers should aim at different comsumers to arrange their produce, government should enhance it's supporting strength, the unitive system of apple quality standard should be set up, rearrange the planting structure of apple, opitimize the inputing strcture, improve the commercial quality of fresh apple and the refrigerating chain, and build more profitable apple machining factories, thus to improve the competitiveness of Chinese apple and make farmers gain more certain profits.
