Proof Study Of Designs On Land Consolidation Project In Suburban Areas

Land consolidation in certain region displays many features differ from other regions, such as consolidation condition, special problems. These results come from the differences between regions. The paper, at the basis of the research result before, tries to discuss the basic methods of designs on land consolidation project and land suitability assessment in suburban areas. The whole article consists of the following five parts: the theory study; the basic approach study on land suitability assessment; the method study of designs on land consolidation preject based on the assessment and the case study of land consolidation project designs, at last the conclusion and discussion.In the first part, the author analyzed the level and illustrated the necessity of land consolidation in our country at present, at the same time, had a review and outlook to the study of land consolidation domestic and international; Then, the author talked over the basic theory about land consolidation project, and believed that the basic theories include Sustainable development theory, system theory, regional differentiation theory, landscape ecology theory, environmental ethics theory and Harmony theory between man and land, ecology theory. In this part the function of these theories were analyzed the planning and designs on land consolidation project. The second part put forward the basic theories, goals, tasks, principles and methods on land suitability assessmengt. The third part researched on the main methods of designs, including systematically designs method, project survey method, project designs method, and so on. The fourth part is the case study of land consolidation at BaiBan village in Jiancaoping, TaiYuan.The results show: The situation of current land consolidation taking increase of cultivated land as goal must be changed. Land consolidation should enter into the stage based on suitability assessment. Land suitability assessment is the base of planning and designs on land consolidation project; With the constant development of land consolidation cause in our country, we must abolish the traditional mode of land consolidation, and establish new one which will apply sustainable land use to the whole process of designs; Because now land consolidation project is the most important operation form of land consolidation, and the level of technique may affect the benefits of project very much, so advanced technique should be involved in designs according to the feature of concrete land consolidation project.
