Potential Analysis And Countermeasures On Rural Residential Area Land Consolidation—A Case Study Of Laohekou City Hubei Province

From China's land resources perspective, it is necessary to implement the guiding ideology of Scientific Development Concept. Recently, with the rapidly development of socio-economic, the demand of land become more and more increasing. But the limitation of land resources results that it can not keep the expansion of land area.Therefore, a more realistic approach is to change the land use patterns and structure,optimize the layout of the distribution, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of the land. This is exactly adhere to the scientific development.As an important way to increase arable land, rural residential land consolidation is good to ease the contradiction between supply and demand of land resource, and ensure the realization of arable land red line target. Meanwhile, it is also contribute to the achievement of the rational distribution of rural residential, to promote reasonable and scientific utilization of land resources, to facilitate the production and life of farmers. So this study on the potential for rural residential land consolidation has important theoretical and practical significance. This paper includes the following contents:First, it is introduced the research background, the necessary of the study, domestic and foreign research status of rural residential land consolidation. It is also proposed the technology roadmap. Second, it is proposed related concepts and theoretical basis of rural residential land consolidation, land consolidation potential, as well as basic theory of land scientific development concept theory and system theory. Once again, the case of Laohekou focus analysis discusses the status quo of rural residential, land consolidation potential, and related benefit evaluation.
