A Study On Design And Management Of Supply Chain System For MTO

Under the current situation of economy globalization, customers' demand is moreand more individualized and their expectation is harder and harder to be met. Thecompetition among nowadays enterprises has changed into the competition of supplychain which is made up of customers, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and servicevendors as well, especially for those Make-to-Order companies, the design of supplychain management system, the research and application of the management obviouslybecome more and more important.This dissertation mainly takes a deep research inside the issues of design andmanagement of the supply chain management system of company A on the basis ofsupply chain design, supply chain management and supply chain application with thepurposes of meeting customers' demands timely and correctly, reducing the supply chainoperation cost, improving customers' satisfaction and loyalty and enhancing its corecompetitive power in the end.The main researching results are listed as follows:1. The process system design and deployment of MTO-oriented supply chainmanagement system are analyzed and discussed in detail;2. The functionality, model-choosing and fulfillment management of MTO-orientedsupply chain advanced planning system (APS) are researched and analyzed;3. Transformation methods of supply chain management are researched;4. The design, deployment and performance measurement of integrated supplychain of company A on the basis of above discussions are discussedemphatically.
