Study And Evaluation On The Learning Edge Of Enterprises

The instinct of life is learning. Just as Darwin said, which can exist in the fluctuant environment are the most flexible ones, not the most strong and clever ones. This principle is also fit to the commercial society, changes are everywhere, and becoming quickly and outstanding increasingly, only the enterprises which can seize the new knowledge, master new skill and adjust their actions according to the environment will exist and develop in the fluctuant market. In front of this environment, Learning Edge is the key factor of victory and defeat for an enterprise, this is also the important reason that many enterprises pay so much attention to the Learning Edge.Most Enterprises recognize there are close relationship between Learning Edge and development or success of enterprises. However, it's hard to taking detail measures when the enterprise try to establish the Learning Edge. There are three reasons for this situation. Firstly, the field of academes and enterprises don't give us an authority definition based on abroad study. Secondly, many monographs papers discuss only on the concept, don't put forward systematic and maneuverable facilities and measures. Thirdly, many viewpoints are short of systematic thinking, they are failure in giving pertinent suggestions which consider the industry character, strategy and culture of enterprise.In this paper, the author consider that establishing Learning Edge is an effective approach to enforcing enterprises competition force. After collecting and analyzing abundant information, the author define the concept of Learning Edge and interrelated concepts, reviewing classic theories in this field, summarize three components of Learning Edge, namely generating creative ideas, generalizing ideas with impact and getting over impedient, analyze the forming mechanism of Learning Edge, put forward a G×G×G evaluation formula, which can keep the clear focus in the numerous and complicated experience and information, and can conform the whole study. Basing on the three components, the author put forward the evaluation indicatoers and model about Learning Edge, provide four approaches about that. The author hope to have some benefit for evaluation and building Learning Edge of Chinese enterprises and enhance the competition.
