Foodstuff is the basic food for most of people in the world. It is one of the staplegoods in international trade. It's very important ingredient of feedingstuff of modernstockbreeding industry. It's also indispensable raw materials of some industries.Therefore, the speed of the demand quantity of foodstuff grows fast. With the fastgrowth of population, the speed of foodstuff production has fall behind theconsumption demand.Wheat is one of the most important foodstuff, and takes very important place inthe national economy and the people's livelihood. China is a very important countryof producing and consuming wheat in the world. So it has a very important place inthe economy of China. Such as china's place in international trade, the power in thenegotiation in agricultural trade in WTO, and foodstuff supply security of a state andso on.The foothold of this paper is domestic wheat market. By reviewing the data onproduction, demand and supply and international trade, analyzing the ratio ofdomestic market occupation, international market occupation, trade competition indexand agricultural intense extent, this paper explains deeply the status of internationalcompetition of Chinese wheat. The paper discusses several factors which haveinfluence on international trade of wheat on the base of demonstration model. It alsodiscusses the extent of influence of these factors. According to these analyses, at theending of this paper, the author puts forward with some suggestion on improvinginternational competition of wheat.
