Game Model Study Of Green Supply Chain Management

Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is a strategy which takes environmental factors into consideration when managing the supply chain. It aims to maximize the overall environmental profit through both inter-cooperations among different sections of an enterprise and intra-cooperations between upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain during the process of product design, material selection, manufacturing, sales and product recovery. Through this way, both environmental and economic performances of the enterprises can be improved and therefore the sustainable development is realized. Domestic researches on GSCM focus mostly on the relevant concepts, contents, characteristics, and development strategies. However, few quantitative studies concentrate on the model designs of GSCM;even much fewer quantitative studies using game theory can be found in this field.The paper firstly sets forth the basic conception of GSCM.Then it introduces the study situation of GSCM on the basis of literature of green supply chain relaitonship and supply chain performance.With the environmental management, the closed-recycle of material has been realized, which reduces not only the demand for virgin raw material but also the waste quantity discharged into the nature environment. As a result, the green supply chain protects the nature environment from the source and destination of the raw material, which is in favor of sustainable development.GSCM is a systematic approach to solve environmental problems.Core enterprise plays the most important role in the decision-making of supply chain management, and the pressure from the government is an important motive to drive enterprises to implement GSCM. Game theory is used to establish a model between government and core enterprise in a green supply chain. And then the paper analyzes the different strategies of government and enterprise during different phases of environment protection. Some results are derived.This paper puts forward ways how to realize the win-win strategy between the government and enterprise in order to promote GSCM. What's more , the paper studies cooperation question of GSCM with the method of game theory. On the basis of knowledge spillover, it describes supplier-demander cooperation model on green supply chain, and analyzes the different payoff of cooperation and non-cooperation, expounds the benefit of cooperation. Then it gives an example. Finally, it puts forward what to be further studied.
