Mutual Relations Analysis Of Leading Industry And Industry Convergence Development Policy In Dalian

Leading industry is the core and the mainstay of regional economy development. The choice and cultivation of leading industry play a very important role in economic development strategy and industrial policy. It will directly affect the future development direction and the prospect of regional economy. In the process of Rejuvenating the Northeast Old Industry Base, Dalian has established petroleum processing, ships and equipment manufacturing, high-tech industry and electronic information as leading industries. Basing on the industry goal, the paper reviews the development of leading industry in Dalian, and then makes the mutual relation analysis among the leading industries departments. At the same time, put forward the countermeasures and policies about leading industry convergence.The input-output condition of three industries in Dalian reflects the industrial structure problems, including the prominent structural contradictory, the insufficiency industry growth potential, the weak system innovation, the oversized heavy industry proportion, high energy consumption and so on. Based on the dividing of leading industry and through the deeply analyze of the direct relation effect, impact effect among leading industries in Dalian. We found that the direct relation between electronic information industry and manufacture industry quite obvious, but its impact effect is weak. Meanwhile, the aggregate output of petroleum processing & electronic information industry can not meet the final demands. It means that two industries are full of potential.The rule of international industry development indicates that industry convergence has become a new trend of industry promotion and development. According to the condition of industry relationship in Dalian, the paper proposes a new way of leading industry development which is called industry convergence. By expounding the means, the power and the mechanism of industry convergence, this paper suggest to improve the industry convergence between electronic information & equipment manufacturing, high-tech industry, modern service industry, and offered industry policy and suggestion for leading industry development in Dalian.
