The Research On The Transfer Of Surplus Rural Labor In HeBei Province

The transfer of surplus rural labor is the major strategic issue in present economicdevelopment in China and is a key to reach the comparatively well-off society, to fulfil thescientific development concept and to solve the problem of " Peasant, agriculture andvillage " efficiently, which not only concerns the development of rural economy and themacroeconomy, but also influences the long-term stability and safety of society. There areabundant rural labors and more surplus rural labors in Hebei with a great population. Thisthesis studies the transfer of surplus rural labor by taking Hebei Province as an example andfalls into the following four chapters: The first chapter defines the relevant concept of surplusrural labor and simply elaborates on the domestic and foreign theories about this research. Thesecond chapter reviews the situation of the transfer of surplus rural labor before and after theopening up reform in Hebei and analyses the present of this problem from three aspects: therural labor resources, the current state of employment and the characteristics of the transfer.The third chapter puts forward the major problems and constraints in transfer process ofsurplus rural labor in Hebei. The forth chapter makes suggestions on the main approach andconcrete measures to promote the transfer of surplus rural labor in Hebei.
