Research On The Development Strategy And The Status Quo Of The Modern Service Industry Of Anhui Province

For a period of time in the future, the modern service industry will be not only the important economic growth point of Anhui province but also the key area of regulating industrial structure, optimizing investment environment and strengthening city function for Anhui province. To speed up development of the modern service industry of Anhui province, cognition should be further unified, emphases should be made clear and policies should be constituted more perfectly.The dissertation originates from the branch project Research on the Development Strategy and the Status Quo of the Superiority Industry of Anhui Province which belongs to the research projects on the first countrywide economic census of Anhui province. The paper is based on its sub-project Research on the Development Strategy and the Status Quo of the Modern Service Industry of Anhui Province.This paper gives an explanation of the conception of the modern service industry as well as the definition of its research scope. Based on the application of the first countrywide economic census, it systematically analyzes the development of its inner-structure and the overall situation of Anhui modern service industry from four aspects. These aspects are development scale, government investment, development level and economic efficiency. Then it quantitatively assesses the status quo of Anhui modern service industry applying factor analysis. On the basis of those analyses and result of SWOT research, the development strategy of Anhui modern service industry is presented.
