A Study On Increasing The Income Of Peasant In Middle And Western China After Entering WTO

Our nation is a traditional agricultural country, the amount of peasant is three quarters of the total population, among them almost 2/3 of the population mainly in middle and western china lives a world-class comparatively poor life. After entering WTO our national ecnomy lies in a more complex environment, it is essential how to increase the income of peasant in middle and western china during the course of building our country into a comfortably-off society in an all-round way.The paper analyses the structure of the increasing income of peasant in middle and western china,also the primary influential factors around entering WTO, through comparing some relative varials, using the experience at home and abroad for reference, on the basis of the classic theory about regional economy and industrial structure development, put forward some new approaches to increasing the income of them within the bounds of WTO. The main contents are as following.1. It studies the theory about the increasing income of peasant in middle and western china. Including the classic theory about regional economy and industrial structure development and the update academic reasearching trends.2. It analyses the main influencing factors on the increasing income of peasant in middle and western china around entering WTO. Including some productive essential factors, for example: capital, technique, labourer, except some non-productive factors, as following : agricultural product sprice and exporting quantity, the developments of non-agriculture.3. It expounds the attack from entering WTO for the peasant in middle and western china, on this question separately from two angles means producing-grain region and non-producing-grain region.4. It emphasizes many successful experiences especially from Taiwan,Germany, American and so on , on the basis of that the paper elaborate some new approaches to increasing the income of them within the bounds of WTO.5. At last it puts forward some suggestions and relative measures, it means that taking agricultural-product-processing for the center the local peasants develop some certern special agricultural product , take the advantage of the large variety of resources, and guide surplus labour force to transfer from agriculture to industry or service sector.
