Research On Development Patterns Of Industrial Clusters-based Logistics In Guangdong Province

The rapid economy growth in some areas has become a distinctive characteristic of the economy in Guangdong since the early 1990s, of which the Cluster-Economy growth around Pearl River Delta is very notable. The Cluster-Economy has gone beyond the regional division becoming the industrial clusters in wider scale. The boom of industrial clusters, which has tenacious life and latent energy, comes from the creation on of the masses during the process of the escalation in industrial structure, industrialization and modernization. But at the same time, the industrial clusters have to face many problems. For example, the lagging logistics service system still exists.As a kind of advanced organization method and management technology, modern logistics is regarded as the third source of profit after diminishing consumption of materials and raising labor productivity. It plays an important role in the development of society and economy, supporting the development of industrial clusters and regional economy.On the backgrounds of strengthening regional cooperation in broad-sense Pearl River Delta and opening logistics to the outside world, the author puts forward the conception of the logistics of industrial clusters for the first time based on making an exhaustive study on industrial clusters, on the status of Cluster-Economy development in Guangdong province, and on the management theories of logistics and supply chain. Guided by the notion of scientific development, the author explores the way to realize diminishment of the cost production, high efficiency and high profit of the logistics of industrial clusters, so that we can strength the sustainable development capacity of industrial clusters. What the author explored is not only in the badly need, but also is an important research subject for the researchers who plan to serve for the development of society and economy of Guangdong province.The dissertation is divided into five chapters:Chapter I is the prolegomenon. The research background of the dissertation is introduced;its significance, aim, content, innovation and the existing research status athome and abroad are also included.Chapter II is about the survey on the development of industrial clusters and logistics. The challenge that industrial clusters are facing is put forward on the basis of the survey on the development of industrial clusters and logistics.Chapter HI is about the theories of the development of industrial clusters. The development model of Clusters-based Economy is summarized and the efficiency mechanisms of supply chains system in clustered industry are exhaustively analyzed. The logistics theories of industrial clusters and the guiding significance of the notion of scientific development to the logistics theories of industrial clusters are interpreted.Chapter IV is about the industrial clusters-based logistics. The internal relations among the industrial clusters, the logistics and the notion of its scientific development are further analyzed. Based on the above analysis, the conception of the logistics of industrial clusters is put forward in a creative way. The evolution tendency of the logistics of industrial clusters is predicted. This chapter analyzes some industrial clusters-based logistics development in Guangdong province.Chapter V is about the development patterns on the logistics of industrial clusters in Guangdong. Therefore some suggestions on its future plan are offered. According to demonstration analysis on the industrial clusters-based logistics development, we have to discuss the following problems: the basic developing and main governing patterns.
