Study On Logistics Status And Development Strategy Of Chinese Chain-Store Enterprises

Chain-store management, as one revolution in retail trade, which originated unconsciously in the 1990s in China has obtained brilliant achievements up to today. However, the constructing of logistics distributing system in chain-store enterprises in China is still in its primary phase. Current distributing pattern is comparatively slow, which cumbers the development of chain-store enterprises greatly and restricts gravely the exertion of scale effect, and has become the bottleneck of the development of chain-store enterprises. How to improve the efficiency and benefit of chain-store logistics distributing is the key problem that needs resolving in the development of Chinese chain-store enterprises, and also the crux to win while competing with overseas-funded enterprises after China entering WTO.The paper begins with the related concepts of Chain-store management, aims at the status quo of Chain-store enterprises in China, and has found out the central problems existing in logistics distributing system: Managers' ragged understandings of the importance of distributing;shortage of talents and low management level;distributing center doesn't reach the economical scale, and its efficiency of distributing and benefit are low;low degree of modernization of distributing establishments and facilities and low efficiency of operating and service level;low level of informatization;weak flexility and ability to deal with urgent affairs, distributing organizing requires improving.Directing against the problems found out, the thesis proposes corresponding measures whose significant points lie in three aspects: use the means of matrix map to select reasonable distributing mode, i.e. based on the demand of enterprises' requirement to the distributing service level and supply power, classify the chain-store enterprises according to their degrees of requirement to distributing and ability to build, operate and manage distributing and distributing centers, and suggest corresponding distributing mode suitable for each enterprise;guided by maximization of chain-store enterprise's profit, adopt mathematic methods to define the best service level, and provide the way to treat with the relationship between service and cost;analyze the significance of informatization construction for chain-store enterprises, and discuss the problems that need considering during the process of enhance the logistics informatization construction.At the end of the paper, the author gives the tenet, measures, process to evaluate the performance of Chinese chain-store logistics distributing and illustrates that through the performance appraisal, chain-store enterprise can evaluate scientifically and logically its logistics operation achievements, which helps to examine and induct enterprise's logistics operation conduct, search gap and reasons in operation andfacilitate them to strengthen logistics management and improve economic benefit.All in all, as long as Chinese chain-store enterprises can aim at problems to take corresponding measures, we believe that under the environment of globalization of world economy they can no doubt bring advantages as late starters into play, face competition at leisure, make their own road and continue to be strong, walk up to the world.
