Research On Core Competence-oriented Virtual Enterprise Construction

With rapid development and progress of science and technology, the internal and external corporate competitive environments have been greatly changed;with the ever-increasing market competition, consumer's demand and satisfaction has become the key enterprises striving for. In order to meet the individualized demands for the products and services of the consumers, the enterprise is required to establish the new organization and management mode, which is of high flexibility and self-adaptation. Virtual Enterprise (VE), as a means to optimize the integration of external resources of the enterprise, which is based on the core competence of the enterprise, has become the realistic choice for reconstructing corporate systems.By taking the recognition on corporate core competence as the breakthrough point, this paper holds the opinion that the corporate knowledge, especially the tacit knowledge is the source of core competence;based on the above, this paper discusses the purpose of establishing VE in terms of upgrading the corporate core competence;regarding VE as the carrier of transferring and acquiring corporate knowledge, and by the internal relation analysis among VE construction, knowledge study and core competence improvement, this paper establishes the frame model of upgrading core competence, which provides a new explanation and idea to analyze the relation between VE construction and core competence improvement. In the research of optimized partner selection on the basis of above theories, this paper proposes a new idea of partner selection process, and explores the steps of VE construction, which serves as the reference basis for selecting partner portfolio. And according to the characteristics of partner selection process, this paper proposes the optimized partner selection model on the basis of Genetic Algorithm.
