With the keen competition between companies, managers focusing on operatingperformance during process. The performance evaluation's results provide the mostcompletely and naked outcome and can also achieve the objective of keepingsuperiors and weeding out inferiors, so that managers can do personnel adjustment.Performance evaluation was first carried in to execution for 60 years, and humanbeing have became the most important resource of the company. So the organizationis taking every effort to keep excellent employee, who at the same time concentrate ontheir personal development and career programming. So both organization andemployees pay their attention on the self-assessment. The target of the study is tomake out that the effect of self-assessment and how self-assessment affect the wholeperformance evaluation system, hoping that the result could be reference in practicaland be the beginning of theoretical study.This study divided self-appraisal into 'train orientation' 'develop orientation''salary orientation' base on literature review. Besides doing thoroughly literaturereview, this study also collected 108 employee's questionnaires who doing theinterview activity. By statistical analyzing, the major results are followed:(1)In terms of development and training, reliability of self-assessment is can be thebase of decision for director.(2)In terms of the result of the self-assessment, director should consider the differentpersonality of employee when make decision.(3)Different characteristic should be considered by directors when making decisionsaccording to information of self-assessment.(4)Self-assessment, through which employee will enhance their apperceive of justiceand trust of organization, contributes positive sense to keep excellent employee.
